- Provide proactive HR support to store management team
Provide regular reports to the General Manager and Regional HR Manager on the performance of the store regarding hours and productivity
Advise on ideal rotas and changes in structure to improve effective use of hours according to business needs
Working closely with the Recruitment Centre, coordinate recruitment activity for the store, from placing adverts, vacancy authorisation, screening CVs, organising interviews, managing feedback
Ensure effective induction process, working closely with the management team and Mentors
Work closely with the General Manager to monitor, identify and resolve issues affecting team morale or performance
Support managers in performance management of staff through 121s, F2F
Work with General Manager to create and have action plans in place for store succession plan
Advise on any ER issues such as flexible working, investigations, disciplinaries, sickness absence
Hold relevant meetings such as Flexible working requests, Return to Work meetings, Attendance meetings or Investigations
Support the management team with initiatives regarding training and development of the team
Roll out company training in store, particularly relating to HR processes
Resolve payroll queries
Coordinate any payroll changes with Payroll and Regional HR Manager
Advise and promote company benefits and development opportunities
Ensure exit interviews are held and feedback given on areas for improvement
Analyse reports and create action plans for improvement
Ensure effective internal communication as a store, participating in any managers meetings
Support the management team in the motivation of the team
